Hanè is the inaugural piece in Beverly Morrison’s Mid Century Modern Collection—a sculptural vessel inspired by the delicate yet powerful wings of a black swallowtail butterfly. Reimagined through a modernist lens, the form merges natural inspiration with architectural clarity. Broad and angular with a slender neck, Hanè evokes the shape of wings mid-glide—open, expansive, and full of quiet motion.

The surface is finished in a satin sheen that enhances the vessel’s curves and edges without masking the raw character of the clay.
