Ghost is a sculptural bas-relief exploring gesture, presence, and disappearance. Created in a single session, the piece was formed by hand—no tools—beginning with a thick clay slab dusted in granular manganese dioxide. From this base, textured ridges were pressed and coaxed into being, then further accentuated with additional manganese. The resulting surface is raw and gritty, its indented marks suggesting something caught between emergence and dissolution.

The composition appears to flicker—like a spirit forming from smoke or soil, only to vanish again. Its name, Ghost, reflects this transitory energy: a quiet imprint of movement, like memory etched into earth.
