"Amante"
Sculpted from black clay and echoing the form language of its larger counterpart Sora, Amante explores the emotional paradox of self-protection. Its bold, modernist curves suggest a vessel fortified from within—shielded, almost armored. Yet the interior tells a different story: streaked, weathered textures imply erosion, as though the act of guarding the heart too fiercely has left its own quiet damage.
There is tension in Amante’s posture—a push and pull between strength and vulnerability, containment and release. The opening at its crown reveals a glimpse inward, inviting contemplation of what’s hidden and what remains exposed. In this sculptural moment, Amante holds the question: how do we preserve what’s vital without closing ourselves off to light?
